The Wall adds 1,174 vendors in its first week and fills in all 50 states
An index snapshot captured August 9 puts The Wall at 3,460 approved US growth vendors, up 51.4% from the 2,286 it launched with on August 3. Arkansas, Hawaii, Mississippi, and New Mexico, blank at launch, now carry listings.
The Wall launched on August 3, 2026 with 2,286 approved listings and four states with none. An index snapshot captured August 9 puts the count at 3,460. That is 1,174 new listings in six days, a 51.4% expansion. The map gaps closed too: Arkansas (8 listings), Hawaii (9), Mississippi (6), and New Mexico (10) were blank in the launch-era geography briefing and now carry vendors, putting all 50 states plus the District of Columbia on the board. Every state shortlist now starts with at least six in-state options.
The growth did not land evenly. Marketing added the most listings in absolute terms, 396. AI Marketing, the smallest pillar at launch with 34 firms, tripled to 105, the fastest relative growth in the index. Sales nearly doubled, from 103 to 195.

The mix also tilted toward software. Software providers grew from 246 listings to 397, a 61.4% increase, ahead of the 52.1% growth in marketing and creative agencies (1,964 to 2,987). Business services held flat at 76. The launch-era split is documented in the agencies-vs-software briefing.
For buyers, the practical effect is a deeper bench in every pillar and a usable in-state option in states that had none three weeks ago. One sourcing note: briefings published before this date report figures from the 2,286-listing launch index. Figures in this briefing come from the August 9 index snapshot.
How this was computed. Figures are computed from The Wall's index of approved, US-based, machine-verified-live listings, using the index snapshot current when each briefing was published: 2,286 listings at launch (August 3, 2026) and 3,460 in the latest snapshot (captured August 9, 2026). Engagement data (rates, minimum project sizes, team sizes, founding years, ratings) are provider-declared figures published on public Clutch profiles; they were present for 1,738 of the 2,286 launch listings, and coverage counts for later snapshots are stated inside each briefing that uses them. Percentages of "disclosed" values exclude listings that publish no figure. Nothing in this briefing is estimated or modeled. Sourcing standards: editorial policy.
