Agencies That Publish Case Studies Draw Nearly 6x the Search Traffic
59.6% of agency websites we read publish case studies. Those agencies have a median of 7 public reviews to 1, and 5.8 times the estimated organic traffic.
Key findings
- Of 2,664 agency websites read, 59.6% link to case studies.
- Agencies with case studies: median 7 public reviews; 69.4% have at least one. Without: median 1; 51.6% have any.
- Estimated monthly organic visits: 90 with case studies, 15 without. LinkedIn followers: 2,240 against 1,044.5.
- This is a correlation. Agencies that publish proof tend to do the other visible things too; the data does not say case studies cause reviews.

Methodology
The population is the 3,460 US growth-services vendors listed in The Wall on the as-of date: marketing, SEO, creative, content, social, PR, automation, demand generation, sales, and AI marketing firms that sell to established businesses. It is a large directory, not a random sample of every US agency, and results describe it.
Case studies: we read each agency's homepage and up to two internal pages and counted links to case-study pages. 2,664 agency sites were readable; sites that blocked us or rendered only in script are excluded.
Public reviews are Google Business Profile reviews plus Clutch reviews (Clutch only where the record is sourced from Clutch). Backlink rank is DataForSEO's 0 to 100 domain rank.
Organic visits are DataForSEO Labs estimates of monthly visits from US Google organic results ("estimated traffic volume"): search volume for each ranking keyword multiplied by a click-through rate for its position. They are modeled, not measured, and are best read as a comparison between firms. A firm with no ranking keywords in that index is counted as zero.
Every figure on this page is computed by one script from The Wall's records and is reproducible from the CSV above. Full sourcing rules: methodology. Corrections: editorial and corrections policy.
